AKRON, Ohio-- Akron senior DT Rodney Coe (Fulton, Mo.) played in the 2016 College Gridiron Showcase game on Jan. 16 in Arlington, Texas.
A transfer from Iowa State, Coe was a third-team All-MAC honoree. He started 11 games at defensive tackle where he had 46 tackles, 8.5 TFL, 2.0 sacks, three break-ups, three hurries, a forced fumble, and a 56-yard fumble recovery.
