MLS 2016 GENERATION ADIDAS CLASS RELEASE AKRON, Ohio - University of Akron men's soccer sophomore Richie Laryea (Toronto, Ontario (Canada)) was rewarded for his stellar campaign when Major League Soccer announced the 2016 Generation adidas class on Wednesday, Jan. 6, confirming the signing of five talented NCAA underclassmen who will enter the professional ranks through the 2016 MLS SuperDraft, presented by adidas, on Jan. 14 in Baltimore, Maryland. Laryea leads a talented 2016 class that also includes; Georgetown defender Josh Yaro, the Big East's 2015 Defensive Player of the Year; Clemson goalkeeper Andrew Tarbell, who led the Tigers to the NCAA Men's College Cup final and led the ACC with 84 saves; Syracuse midfielder Julian Buescher, notched eight goals and 11 assists and was named to the College Cup all-tournament team; midfielder Jack Harrison was vital for Wake Forest ending the 2015 season with eight goals and 11 assists en route to garnering 2015 NSCAA First Team All-America accolades.
