BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Behind the efforts of two top spots on the podium and four top-three finishes, the Akron swimming and diving team sits in first place by 117.5 points with their score of 315.50, following the second day of competition at the 2016 MAC Championships at Bowling Green State University.
Buffalo takes over second place after day two of competition with 198 points while Eastern Michigan falls one spot back into third place with 197.50 points
Freshman Madison Myers (Akron, Ohio) won her first individual MAC Championship of her collegiate career in the 200 individual medley.
