AKRON, Ohio — Zips Football held its annual Pro Timing Day on Friday afternoon at Stile Athletics Field House.
Twenty-eight participants, including 17 graduating seniors, four former Zips players, and seven members of the national champion Mount Union team, endured an afternoon of skills tests for more than 30 scouts from 22 NFL teams.
Members of the media, current Zips players, as well as family members, were on hand to watch. It was Akron's largest Pro Timing Day event in more than a decade.
The 2016 NFL Draft is slated for April 28-30 in Chicago and will be televised live by NFL Network.
