The beginning of July means a lot of things for different people: the hottest summer days are here, pay your rent, the 4th of July is right around the corner, baseball season has just passed the halfway point, etc. But, with the Bears kicking off their football season on September 1st against Abilene Christian, it also means exactly two more months until football is back for Baylor and its fans.
After a disappointing season last year, this offseason has (at least for me) felt like an eternity. But the Bears should be much improved, led by breakout QB star Charlie Brewer and a year two Phil Snow defense.
