At the half, Baylor football is tied with UTSA 7-7 following a last minute touchdown drive by the Roadrunners.
On the first drive, the Baylor offense was pushed back into its own territory due to self-inflicted woulds including an offensive pass interference and multiple false start penalties.
Sophomore quarterback Zach Smith came in on third down to attempt a long pass, but his completion to junior wide receiver Chris Platt came up just short of the first down.
The Baylor defense forced a three-and-out on UTSA’s first possession to get the ball back but senior quarterback Anu Solomon tossed an interception at midfield as the Roadrunners regained possession.
