In a controversial call, Baylor FS Chance Waz was ejected from the game late in the fourth quarter vs Liberty for a targeting penalty.
After Liberty scored a touchdown to put them ahead 47-38, Liberty tried to attempt a two point conversion them to put them ahead, but failed on their attempt.
After the commercial break, the referees determined that on the play, Waz hit Spencer Jones above the shoulders and ejected Waz for targeting.
The penalty allowed Liberty to retake their point after attempt, and they decided to kick the extra point to put them ahead 48-38.
