Baylor key spring issues, No. 2: Fixing the turnover issues

Baylor's defense was far from dominant last season, and is part of the reason why the team went 1-11 in its first year under Matt Rhule. Besides their inability to stop the run and the pass, the Bears had a rough time forcing turnovers as well.

The Bears had the least amount of interceptions in the Big 12 last season (three) and forced the fifth most fumbles (eight), Conversely, the Bears offense had 14 interceptions (tied for second most in the Big 12) and 11 lost fumbles (tied for second most in the Big 12). The Bears ranked ninth in the Big 12 in turnover margin (-14) and turnovers per game (-1.
