WACO -- Baylor coach Matt Rhule has been here before, having suffered an embarrassing loss in his opening season at a school.
Four years ago, Rhule saw his first Temple team lose to FCS member Fordham and then to Idaho. With Baylor coming off an FCS loss to Liberty, those old memories and the way Temple responded are fresh in Rhule's mind. Baylor (0-1) hosts USTA (0-0) on Saturday.
"I do think we were able to learn from the lessons of losing to Fordham. We were able to learn from the lessons of losing to Idaho. And those kids learned that this is how you win, and that it's hard to win," Rhule said, switching gears from Temple in 2013 to Baylor now.
