Baylor sophomore quarterback Zach Smith will transfer from the university, according to a report.
According to ESPN Radio's Central Texas affiliate, Smith has requested for a release from the program. This year, Smith appeared in nine games while he battled for playing time. He completed 52.2 percent of his passes for 1,461 yards, eight touchdowns and eight interceptions.
