No. 8-ranked Baylor softball took down Abilene Christian 3-0 and 13-2 in a doubleheader Sunday afternoon to remain undefeated on the season.
The Lady Bears (9-0) downed the Wildcats (4-7) behind a combined four runs and four RBIs from senior centerfielder Jessie Scroggins.
Junior pitcher Gia Rodoni started the first game for Baylor and allowed zero hits in the first two innings. Scroggins scored two on an RBI double to put the Lady Bears up 2-0, and junior left fielder Kyla Walker singled to left field to drive Scroggins in and give Baylor a 3-0 lead in the top of the second.
