ARLINGTON - Baylor freshman quarterback Charlie Brewer made his second career start on Saturday. Brewer showed why he could have a bright future behind center for the Bears, but made a few freshman mistakes along the way.
Brewer completed 15 of 24 passes for 154 yards and one touchdown in the first half to keep Baylor in the game against Texas Tech, but he also reminded the Baylor faithful that he's still a freshman.
He lost a fumble in the first quarter and threw an interception to Texas Tech safety Vaughnte Dorsey on 3rd & 22 near the end of the first half.
