Baylor lost to Texas Tech 38-24 on Saturday, due to costly turnovers that doomed the teams chances of winning. Matt Rhule spoke to the media in his weekly Big 12 teleconference--here are the five biggest takeaways.
Gavin Holmes injured
Over the last month of the season, freshman wide receiver Gavin Holmes emerged as a real threat on the Bears offense. Holmes on the season had 13 catches for 166 yards and two touchdowns. Holmes also scored a rushing touchdown in the Bears 38-9 victory over Kansas.
Against the Red Raiders, Holmes scored the Bears first touchdown, but later in the first was hit low by a defender and was carted off the field with an apparent leg injury.
