WACO -- Baylor was a few seconds away from trailing by seven points or less at the halftime break on Saturday night.

No. 23 West Virginia had other plans. With a timeout to spare, the Mountaineers decided to take a shot at the end zone.

It paid off. Junior quarterback Will Grier found junior wide receiver David Sills for a 16-yard touchdown with one second left in the second quarter. The score gave the Mountaineers a 17-6 lead at halftime.

The touchdown capped an eight play, 80-yard drive that lasted 64 seconds.
