The Red Sox got off to the hot start they were looking for Tuesday night in Toronto, scoring four runs in the first inning to take a solid lead before the Blue Jays even got a chance to bat. They’ll look to follow that same formula in this game, which duh that’s what they always try to do. Originally they were slated to go against former top prospect Sean Reid-Foley for Wednesday night’s game, but the righty had to be used in relief on Tuesday after the Red Sox got to Trent Thornton early.
