Andrea Bargnani’s horoscope was positive Wednesday, but there’s no reason to think it still would be that way Thursday.
Such has been life with Bargnani in Brooklyn, as the Italian 7-footer’s longstanding health issues — particularly with soft-tissue injuries — has continued this month. A tight left hamstring kept him sidelined for all six of the Nets’ preseason games.
Now, with one week to go to the start of the regular season, it is unsurprisingly unclear if Bargnani will be available when the Nets face the Bulls in Brooklyn next Wednesday.
Asked directly three separate times if he was going to play, Bargnani gave a similar non-answer each time.
