Darnell Wright gave glowing review for first-year Bears player who changed team

The Chicago Bears’ offensive line was easily the most consistent unit on the team this season.

Adding veteran interior linemen in Joe Thuney, Drew Dalman, and Jonah Jackson helped stabilize the offense. Offensive tackles Theo Benedet and Ozzy Trapilo did a decent job protecting Caleb Williams’ blindside, and Darnell Wright earned himself a Second-Team All-Pro honor at right tackle.

A big reason the Bears finished as the No. 3 rushing team in the NFL and Williams broke the organization’s single-season passing record with his 3,942 yards was because of continuity on the offensive line.

Bears' big three additions on the line changed the 2025 season

Thuney, Dalman, and Jackson started every game in the regular season.
