This coming July, we already found out that Jeff Kent will be joining the hallowed halls of Cooperstown. Manny Ramirez is going to drop off the ballot, and some other steroid era guys are running out of time as well. But based on the ballot tracking all winter, it seems some other imperfect candidates would join Kent this summer for the induction ceremony.
After a bit of preamble blabbing, they finally revealed the results of the 425 ballots (seems like a lot but also a bit low?) and as expected, Carlos Beltrán made it in despite the earlier slog of low voting because of his part in the Astros cheating scandal.
