Priority Target Takes Home MVP Honors

One of Clemson’s top defensive line targets took home some hardware at an Under Armor camp on Sunday.

Three-star in-state DT Jaden Wuerth (Dutch Fork) was named defensive line MVP after an impressive showing at the UA Next camp in Atlanta.

While Wuerth didn’t pick up his offer from the Tigers until January, he’d been on the radar of the coaching staff for quite some time. He’s visited several times now, with the latest coming of the Elite Retreat last weekend.

“It went great,” Wuerth told The Clemson Insider of the visit. “I loved every part of it.
