Oregon State Tops Colorado

CORVALLIS, Ore.—Two second-half Oregon State goals proved to be the deciding factor in Colorado's 2-0 loss at Paul Lorenz Field on Friday.

The Beavers scored two goals in seven minutes after the two sides played a scoreless first half. OSU's Mylene Gorzynski notched the game-winning in the 59th minute off a mishandle by Dani Hansen. They added the insurance tally in the 66th minute.

"Like I said earlier this week, Oregon State is better than its record reflected," head coach Danny Sanchez noted. "We knew they were going to get something to fall their way and unfortunately for us tonight was the night.
