Former Illinois linebacker Dele Harding has joined the program as a student assistant for this season.
According to a news release, Harding is finishing his degree in Kinesiology from the University this fall.
The two-time captain played in 39 games for the Illini from 2016-19, totaling 235 tackles, 21 TFLs and three picks. He was selected as All-Big Ten first time by the media in 2019 after leading the conference and ranking second in the nation in tackles per game (11.8).
