The Los Angeles Dodgers made a roster move Wednesday in light of Kyle Tucker’s impending introductory press conference.
The Dodgers designated outfielder Michael Siani for assignment.
Tucker’s four-year, $240 million deal with the Dodgers could not be made official until the team cleared a spot on the 40-man roster for the outfielder.
Now that the Dodgers have done so, the organization can introduce its newest All-Star.
President of baseball operations Andrew Friedman and general manager Brandon Gomes will present Tucker in a Dodgers jersey at Dodger Stadium Tuesday in front of members of the media.
