The Los Angeles Dodgers have dominated baseball for the last decade, and a projection from ESPN expects them to do the same in the upcoming season.
ESPN estimates the Dodgers have a 22.2 percent chance to win the World Series, down from the 22.4 percent chance they had prior to the Winter Meetings. That total is more than double the chances of the next closest team: The Atlanta Braves with a 10.2 percent chance. Additionally, the Dodgers have a 95.3 percent chance of making the postseason, just as they have in each of the last 13 seasons.
“The Dodgers’ offseason has consisted of nabbing a new closer in Edwin Diaz in free agency and then working the edges,” ESPN’s Bradford Doolittle wrote.
