Dodgers Retain Recently-DFA’d Utility Infielder

The Los Angeles Dodgers designated utility infielder Ryan Fitzgerald for assignment in order to make room for Andy Ibañez on the 40-man roster earlier this month.

However, the Dodgers were able to retain Fitzgerald as he went through waivers unclaimed and was then outrighted to Triple-A Oklahoma City this week.
