Hunter Receives All-Sun Belt Honor

NEW ORLEANS -- Senior forward Alayshia Hunter was named to the All-Sun Belt second team Tuesday afternoon.

Hunter ranked seventh or better in six Sun Belt games-only categories, including field goal percentage (fourth, 52.1 percent), scoring (fifth, 16.4 ppg), rebounding (seventh, 7.3 rpg) and blocking (sixth, 1.2 bpg). She had started 15 games her first three years. Hunter finished her career No. 14 on ULM's all-time scoring list (1,109 points).

The Killeen, Texas, native scored a career-high 30 points at Troy in her final collegiate road game, including a 14-for-17 clip from the field. Those makes were the most by anyone in the Sun Belt for a single game on the year, and were the most by a Warhawk since Ashleigh Simmons had 15 at Ole Miss in November 2013.
