MONROE, La. -- With the official start of the season just three weeks away, the Warhawk baseball team began spring practice on Friday afternoon at Warhawk Field.
The team opened the practice with stretching and throwing before moving into bunt defense. After 20 minutes of working on defensive drills, the squad took batting practice before scrimmaging for the first time since the Blood Series back in the fall.
