Ibi Watson and Xavier Simpson are planning to spend the next four years together as part of Michigan’s incoming class.
First, though, they’ll spend three days this week on the same team, gaining a comfort zone as the backbone of the Ohio All-Star team.
Ohio will face the Kentucky All-Stars in a game at St. Thomas More College in Crestview Hills, Ky., on Saturday night, the renewal of an annual rivalry.
Three of the four U-M signees will be representing Ohio: Watson, a wing from Pickerington Central; Simpson, the point guard from Lima Senior; and center Jon Teske from Medina.
