Vikings' 2026 QB plan might quietly hinge on next weekend’s AFC drama

When the Pittsburgh Steelers and Aaron Rodgers take on the Baltimore Ravens for the final playoff spot in the AFC next weekend, it's safe to say that some members of the Minnesota Vikings will be watching that contest closely.

If the Steelers come out of the matchup with a win, they move on to the postseason, and their chance of re-signing Rodgers in 2026 would seem probable. But if the Ravens send Pittsburgh home with a loss and no playoffs next weekend, one would assume that the likelihood of Rodgers wanting to finish his NFL career elsewhere, if he doesn't plan to retire, would be high.
