After whetting the appetite with a trade for a veteran center, Bill Guerin pulled off a deal for a young forward that could be a part of the Minnesota Wild's future for a long time. Michael Russo is reporting that the Wild acquired winger Bobby Brink from the Philadelphia Flyers for defenseman David Jiricek.

Brink is a 24-year-old winger who was selected by the Flyers in the second round of the 2019 NHL Draft. A pending restricted free agent, Brink has 13 goals and 13 assists for the Flyers while carrying a cap hit of $1.
