Dustin Poirier isn’t ready to forgive Conor McGregor.
Poirier and McGregor grew into bitter rivals over the course of their trilogy of fights. However, McGregor seemingly tried to mend things with a recent friendly gesture. Commenting on Poirier’s post with his newborn child, McGregor wrote: “Congrats bro.”
However, Poirier refuses to bury the hatchet with McGregor. Reacting to McGregor’s comment, Poirier told Ariel Helwani: “F—k no, man. F—k Conor.”
A Rivalry Turned Ugly
McGregor (22-6) knocked out Poirier (30-10) in the first round of their initial clash in 2014. They were both still fairly early in their UFC career, and the rivalry didn’t turn ugly.
