The Paul Rimmer protégé took out Alexis Savvidis with a flying triangle armbar in the second round of their Cage Warriors 90 lightweight confrontation on Feb. 24, 2018 at Echo Arena in Liverpool, England. Pimblett slammed the door shut 35 seconds into Round 2. A frenetic first five minutes saw the two combatants threaten one another with submissions, as Pimblett made multiple passes at leg locks and his Greek counterpart responded with a bid for an armbar.
