The New Jersey Devils have clawed their way back into their game with the Boston Bruins on Monday night, thanks to tenacity after going down 2-0. The start of the game was horrendous, with David Pastrnak and Pavel Zacha both scoring in the first period. Then, 32 seconds into the second period, Connor Brown took a beautiful feed from Jack Hughes to bring the Devils within one goal. Around eight minutes later, Hughes started another great play, feeding Brown, who found Jesper Bratt for a goal.
The Devils were tied at the time of Bratt’s goal and remain tied now in the final minutes of the third period.
