The New Jersey Devils announced on Friday that they extended Nico Hischier‘s contract an extra seven years with an average annual value of $7.25 million. That is a really good deal and huge news for the Devils organization as one of their cornerstone pieces is locked up long term. However, that story won’t have all the spotlight on Saturday afternoon.
The Devils have an afternoon matinée against the Vancouver Caunucks at the Prudential Center and it will be the first time that Jack Hughes faces his older brother Quinn Hughes in an NHL game.
