The New Jersey Devils lost again. This time to the Florida Panthers and that drops them to an 0-4-2 record, still searching for their first win. This leaves them at the bottom of the Eastern Conference. Already, they are in big trouble. This loss is unacceptable and one that will sting this team for a long time. If they don’t get it together soon, they will be in the lottery conversations once again.
This loss came with another price as top center Nico Hischier didn’t play after the first period for the Devils. That is a major loss because Hischier brings so much to this team.
