The New Jersey Devils might be forced to trade Taylor Hall. It’s just the reality we’re facing here. He is on an expiring contract, and the Devils would be really unwise to not get something out of a player of his caliber. He is the type of player that is mentioned amongst the best players in the National Hockey League and it is going to be a major loss in the short term, but could be a major win in the long term if they handle it right. They acquired Hall in a lopsided trade with the Edmonton Oilers but that doesn’t mean it’s okay to lose him for nothing.
