The New York Jets entered their defensive coordinator search hoping the presence of Aaron Glenn and his leaguewide connections would make the job more attractive. Instead, they’ve already run into a sobering reality.
SNY's Connor Hughes reported on a recent edition of Jets Final Drive that the Jets reached out to two high-profile defensive coordinator candidates early in the process, and both declined interest in working with the team and Glenn.
It didn’t stop there, either. The Athletic's Zack Rosenblatt went on to add that more than just those two candidates have quietly passed on even taking an interview with the team.
