Ohio State offensive coordinator pipe dream shut down after latest NFL firing

It seems that the Ohio State football program is running out of options for its vacant offensive coordinator position. All of the collegiate options are gone. Ryan Day seems to be holding out hope that he can get an NFL guy to step down into the college game.

Brian Daboll was one of the first options linked to the Ohio State Buckeyes. Once he was fired as the head coach of the New York Giants, he was seen as a viable option. That firing happened in October. Since then, Daboll has interviewed for multiple other NFL jobs.
