RICHMOND, Va. – The No. 20 Old Dominion (4-2-1, 2-0-0 C-USA) men’s soccer team fell to VCU (4-3-0, 0-0-0 A10) on the road, 4-0 on Wednesday night.
Just before halftime, VCU tallied a goal in the 39th minute to put them on the board.
To open the second half, VCU scored back-to-back goals to extend their lead to 3-0. In the 62nd minute, the Rams tallied one more to close out scoring.
ODU led in shots, 17-13 and corners 8-3.
Mertcan Akar collected four saves for ODU.
