Austin has been the Steelers’ defensive coordinator for four seasons and served as a senior defensive assistant and secondary coach for three seasons before that under DC Keith Butler.
Before Pittsburgh, he had two other stints as an NFL DC with the Cincinnati Bengals and Detroit Lions.
