Real Salt Lake came into this game against Chicago with confidence and had some really good looks early. Olmes Garcia continued his momentum from the last three games and was clearly hungry to score. It didn't take him long when Javier Morales and Joao Plata found him in the 14th and he ended his drought to put RSL ahead. In the 27th RSL didn't pull any punches and when Burrito Martinez got in the area Chicago took him down and the ref pointed to the spot. Morales stepped up and with his patented stutter step and converted. Salt Lake was up 2-0.
RSL beat Chicago handily, 3-1
