For the past 10 years, Goals for Girls has been using soccer as a vehicle to teach leadership to young women around the world through their specialized curriculum. Goals for Girls is partnering with the Utah Royals to co-host the first ever Leadership Summit in Utah, which will be a three day event from June 28th-30th at Zions Bank Real Academy in Herriman Utah. The intent is for this Summit to be an annual event for girls soccer players in Utah.
This Leadership Summit will serve as a unique platform bringing together 200 girls from diverse backgrounds, including a delegation of 25 Indians traveling to Utah with the US Department of State’s Sports Diplomacy program, a team of 4 South African trainers, the Utah girls soccer refugee soccer community, and mainstream Utah girls soccer players.
