The Dallas Cowboys no longer wanted DeMarcus Lawrence after the 2024 season. After missing 13 games last season, maybe Dallas thought the edge rusher was past his prime and would no longer help them miss the playoffs. The Cowboys' loss, though, was the Seattle Seahawks' gain.
Lawrence bounced back to Pro Bowl form in 2025 for Seattle, recording six sacks (his most since 2020) and 20 quarterback hits (his most since 2018). However, his most notable aspect was his ability to help shut down the run. And forcing fumbles, of course. He had three this season, and has always been brilliant at knocking the ball out of ball-carriers' hands.
