SMU is in the big dance as a six seed and will take on the winner of Wednesday's game between Providence and USC.

1. Dangerous teams -- Regardless of which team wins on Wednesday night, SMU is getting a tough draw. The winner will have an NCAA tournament win under its belt, have momentum and be ready to play. It should also be noted that 'First Four' teams have had success in the NCAA tournament before. VCU advanced all the way to the Final Four in 2011.
