Harry Froling signs with SMU

SMU added a third member to its 2016 signing class on Monday.

Australian power forward Harry Froling signed his letter of intent, officially making him a member of SMU’s men’s basketball team.

Froling committed to SMU January 25, picking the Mustangs over Arizona, Illinois and Colorado. He is a Scout.com and Rivals.com four-star prospect, but a three-star in the 247Sports.com composite ranks, which pools rankings from several sites. He’s the 137th-ranked overall player in the composite ranks.

The 6-foot-11 Froling is SMU’s third 2016 signee, joining Oklahoma City (Southeast HS) combo guard Dashawn McDowell and Australian point guard Tom Wilson, both of whom signed in November.
