UNIVERSITY PARK -- SMU's receivers have been social media darlings, attracting attention with acrobatic catches.
But in Saturday's home opener, running back Braeden West stole the spotlight, providing the crowd some things they hadn't seen in a while.
West finished with the program's fifth-best rushing performance. He ran for 224 yards and two touchdowns in the Mustangs' 29-14 victory over Liberty at Ford Stadium.
