The Larry Brown era at SMU is coming to an end, according to reports Friday morning.
CBS Sports basketball insider Jon Rothstein reports that Larry Brown is stepping down as head coach of the SMU men's basketball program, a move that has to do with the school's unwillingness to offer a long-term contract going forward.
Tim Jankovich is expected to take Brown's place, Rothstein reports.
