SMU adds commitment from 2017 offensive tackle

SMU football started spring practice Tuesday, and it ended with an exciting bonus.

2017 Fort Worth (Texas) Timber Creek offensive tackle Alan Ali committed to SMU Tuesday night, shortly after visiting for spring practice, he announced on his Twitter account.

Tuesday was Ali’s second visit to SMU since Feb. 20. He is a three-star prospect and a top-50 prospect in Texas, per the 247Sports composite rankings.
