After playing a nonconference game at Stanford in 2015-16, SMU will head back to California as part of its 2016-17 nonconference schedule.
This time, SMU will play at USC, per a release from USC. The game is part of a home-and-home series between the two schools. USC will visit Moody Coliseum in the 2017-18 season for the second part of the home-and-home. The dates for both games have not yet been announced.
The series is SMU’s second home-and-home announced with a Pac-12 team in as many years. The Stanford home-and-home will finish this coming season, with the Cardinal playing at Moody Coliseum.
