UNIVERSITY PARK -- At one point on Saturday night, it felt as if SMU wasn’t going to miss a 3-pointer the rest of the night.
It started when SMU sophomore guard Shake Milton shimmied a long-range shot down midway through the second half of the Mustangs’ conference game against Houston. Then junior Semi Ojeleye knocked down a couple before junior Ben Emelogu II joined the fun.
By the time SMU missed its next shot behind the arc, the Mustangs were well on their way to an 85-64 win over the Cougars.
A couple years ago, SMU wasn’t known for being prolific behind the 3-point line.
