SMU head coach Chad Morris spoke to the media during his weekly teleconference. Here are some highlights.
On his final thoughts on the South Florida game:
"Obviously, we played a very tough opponent in South Florida. Coach (Willie) Taggart in his fourth year in his system has done a great job recruiting and has a great scheme. We felt like from the ball game standpoint, we let them score on the opening play of the game, and they had three one-play drive touchdowns. That's just tough. Outside of that, I thought we did a really good job of holding one of the most explosive offenses in our conference to one of their lowest yardage output totals of the year.
